Under existing circumstances, tin can only be shipped
one of the Allied countries, which have signed the agreeme
or to Japan, which has been invited to sign the agreement;
but has not yet done so. In all the allied countries, the control of imports of tin is very rigorous, and in the Uni
States of America, the import of tin, bought otherwise tha
through the Agent of the Inter-Allied Tin Executive, 1s
entirely prohibited. In view of the circumstances, it wou
appear that the Hong Kong tin market will be in the same
position as regards prices and otherwise as the markets in

the producing centres, there is no reason to anticipat
the unfortunate results indicated in Mr. Severn's telegram

In order to provide for controlling the procurment
and distribution of Tin to meet the requirements of the
countries participatin- in thie arreement, it is agreed

That an Inter-Aliisa Tin Executive be establi. hed
in London, composed of one or more representatives of
sach country participating, with mthority to carry out
the arrangements agreed upon by the ampropria të
Governmental Afancies in shah country.
These arrangʊmonta shall be modified and rasðjustod
from time to time by much further a resmenta as mey bo
required in order to serve the best interests of all
concerned.
The present arrangementa, subject to modifiɑrtion
and readjustment as above provided for, are:-
